Shane Mosley is already in Manny Pacquiao’s head

By Lou Block
The fight is several weeks away but Sugar Shane Mosley is already winning the mental warfare leading up to his May 7th showdown with Manny Pacquiao.
If you try to look for Pacquiao’s official Twitter congMP, you will see that he deleted his account, and reports say it’s because Manny can’t take any criticism.
Mosley weigh in

If Manny is a politician why is he so sensitive? That stuff comes with the territory when you are a public figure. Look at Floyd Mayweather Jr., so many haters try and talk crap and disrespect him on Twitter and FaceBook but he never cried and ran away over some harsh words, Floyd ain’t a quitter that’s why and you can’t get into his head because he is strong minded and extremely confident in himself.
Manny doesn’t have the type of mental toughness that Floyd Mayweather has, and after a few negative comments on his Twitter and after Shane Mosley sent him these messages, Pacquiao decided to close his congMP account.
Just cause u have the bieber hair style doesn’t mean u can sing like him, NO WORRIES, Ill beat you and have you singing right… #SugarTime (SugarShaneM)
Hey Pacquiao (@congMP), I’m going to beat you so hard that you’re going to need botox just to take the worry off your face! #SugarTime (SugarShaneM)
SUGAR is bad for your health – on May 7th Manny you’re gonna be SICK!!! #sugartime (SugarShaneM)
Shane Mosley is already in Manny’s head, and when a fighter isn’t ready mentally that’s not a good sign. If Pacquiao can’t handle Mosley’s trash talk, imagine if Floyd Mayweather Jr. was the one talking trash directly to Manny? Pacquiao would probably be in the fetal position and hide under his sheets hurt from Floyd’s words.

Shane Mosley prepare to face Pacquiao

By: Albert Alvarez
What’s good Shane, Thanks for the call. I am watching the video of Berto/Ortiz presser right now it looks like Berto is second guessing himself in the staredown. Have you seen it yet?
SM- No, I haven’t seen that yet. When was the presser?
It was this past Friday, March 18th at the Foxwoods. Berto’s face expression looks like what it did when you two were facing off when your fight was supposed to happen. I’m sure you remember that right?
SM- [Laughing] Yeah I remember that. I kept thinking to myself that this kid was really afraid of me. That fight between Ortiz and Berto is going to be a real good fight though. Berto looks to be real strong, but I tell you what, Ortiz is a lot stronger than people give him credit for.

Pacquiao, Explain about Diactivating Twitter account

"So left-handed tayo 'tas right-handed si Mosley so posible na tatama 'yung kanan natin, 'yung right hook."

"The damage has been done so hindi na natin puwedeng iatras. Nakita ng judge na napakagandang kaso," ani Pacquiao.

Nagsampa ng kaso sa Amerika si Pacquiao kay Mayweather dahil sa patutsada nitong gumamit siya ng performance-enhancing drugs.

Pacquiao to give up WBC super welter title

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao will be relinquishing the World Boxing Council (WBC) super welterweight crown he won over Mexico’s Antonio Margarito last November.
Pacquiao's camp revealed that they no longer intend to pit the Filipino champion against boxers heavier than welterweight (147 pounds).
His Canadian adviser, Michael Koncz, said the Margarito fight placed the Filipino boxing icon's life at risk.
In that super welterweight bout, set at a 150-pound catch weight, Margarito outweighed the smaller Pacquiao by 17 pounds.
The Filipino champion eventually defeated the bigger Mexican by a lopsided decision and won the WBC super welterweight crown. But he was badly bruised in the process.
“We learned from experience in the Margarito fight that giving away 10 to 15 pounds during fight night is very detrimental to the safety of Manny,” Koncz said in a report by sports commentator Ronnie Nathanielsz to Boxingscene.com.
“Because of those basic concerns, we have no intention for Manny to fight at 154. From this day forward, the maximum weight would be 147 lb (welterweight),” he added.
Koncz said they will send a letter of gratitude to the WBC for giving Pacquiao the chance to win the title.
“Manny wants to free the belt so that others have the opportunity to proudly wear the WBC belt,” he said.
The WBC super welterweight title was the 8th world crown won by Pacquiao in as many weight classes. The victory earned him the distinction of being the only 8-division boxing champion in the world.
Pacquiao is set to defend his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against fight former world champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley on May 7.
Sanctioning fees
Meanwhile, Koncz said they intend to settle the sanctioning fees being sought by the WBC.
Pacquiao reportedly still has to pay up $30,000 for the rematch against Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez in March 2008 and $50,000 for the fight against Oscar de la Hoya in December 2008.
The WBC sanctioned the Pacquiao-Marquez rematch where the super featherweight title was at stake. The WBC has also fined the Filipino for opting to fight De la Hoya instead of defending the WBC lightweight belt he won over Mexico's David Diaz.
WBC President, Don Jose Sulaiman has reportedly threatened to sue Pacquiao and Top Rank's Bob Arum if the fees won't be settled on time.
“I am going to send an e-mail to Top Rank instructing them to pay $50,000 for the De la Hoya fight because that was [the] agreement,” said Koncz.

(WBC) President Jose Sulaiman :Pacquiao lack of respect of WBC

MANILA, Philippines – Long-time World Boxing Council (WBC) President Jose Sulaiman launched a scathing tirade against Fighter of the Decade Manny Pacquiao for allegedly treating the boxing establishment with “disrespect."
In his column “Hook to the Liver” posted on WBC's website, Sulaiman accused Pacquiao of ignoring the WBC’s long time rule on dual championship.
Based on WBC rules, any WBC champion “who wins two titles of different divisions, must relinquish one of those within the 15 following days after conquering the dual championship, with such title being declared vacant.”
Sulaiman said most of WBC’s greatest champions who won double titles in different weight classes have been faithful to this rule.
“All of them, without exception, complied with this important rule and treated and behaved with us with respect and loyalty,” the WBC president said. “Unlike Pacquiao, his promoter Bob Arum, and to some extent his representative, Mike Koncz, who never contacted the WBC within the 89 days that went by.”
Sulaiman said that they never heard a word from Pacquiao’s camp since the Filipino superstar won his 8th world title, the WBC super welterweight crown, over Antonio Margarito last Nov. 13.
Aside from owning the WBC super welterweight title, Pacquiao also holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight crown which he will defend against Shane Mosley on May 7.
This has prompted the WBC to strip Pacquiao of the crown. The title is now being offered to the winner between super welterweight boxers Saul Alvarez and Matthew Hatton.
The move drew controversy in the international boxing scene because neither Hatton nor Alvarez has ever been super welterweight contenders.
“The WBC is the organization that gave Manny the opportunity 12 years ago to win his first world title, the flyweight, and later on five world championships in different divisions, as well as the maximum WBC award, which is the WBC Diamond Belt, that has been won only by Pacquiao in the 49 years of the WBC,” said Sulaiman.
"The WBC is not a beggar nor a sack of trash, and we have never, ever asked for pity," he added.
Sulaiman, earlier, demanded Pacquiao’s camp to settle the sanctioning fees he was supposed to pay in his past fights.
Pacquiao reportedly still has to pay up $30,000 for the rematch against Marquez in March 2008 and $50,000 for the fight against Oscar de la Hoya in December 2008.
The WBC sanctioned the Pacquiao-Marquez rematch where the super featherweight title was at stake. The WBC has also fined the Filipino for opting to fight De la Hoya instead of defending the WBC lightweight belt he won over Mexican-American David Diaz.
In reaction to that demand, Koncz said they intend to settle the dues.
“I am going to send an e-mail to Top Rank instructing them to pay $50,000 for the De la Hoya fight because that was [the] agreement,” said Koncz.
Pacquiao’s camp revealed that they no longer intend to pit the Filipino champion against opponents heavier than welterweight (147 pounds).
Koncz said the Margarito fight, where Pacquiao was outweighed by 17 pounds, placed the Filipino boxing icon's life at risk.
